Good location, enjoyed watching eagles and seals from our room. Good reasonably price breakfast at attached restaurant.
a little worn, adequate, but clean
Helpful staff, wonderful view, quiet, comfortable
Having a harbour view and watching the 8 eagles on the beach plus the 4-6 others flying overhead - it was awesome!!!
It was very convenient to the BC Ferries terminal and they managed the late....10:45 pm... check-in necessitated by the ferry arrival quickly and efficiently. It is in an interesting location with all rooms facing the water and a small boat harbour. I appreciated the small refrigerator in the room.
The rooms need some updating. They are looking a little tired. The restaurant was convenient, the prices reasonable in the morning and the staff friendly, but the coffee was like dish water.
Location on the water was picture perfect. Saw, and took pictures of, lots of eagles flying overhead. Many shore birds as well. A 5 minute drive to downtown Port Hardy.
Beautiful location - very scenic. Friendly and helpful staff made our stay a pleasure, they could not have been more accommodating.
The menu in the restaurant could be enlarged, enhanced. Example - since they were closing for the Christmas week, the week before there was no fresh fruit for breakfast. It might seem like a small thing but certainly a small supply of fresh fruit would not be that difficult to arrange without worrying about having an excess left over.
